Jennifer Aniston has shared her honest thoughts on recent stalking incident back in May.
The Friends alum finally addressed her stalker Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, who allegedly crashed his car into the gate of her $21 million Bel Air mansion.
While speaking to Vanity Fair, Jennifer said, “People are out of their minds, who wants to put that energy out there.”
Dishing out details about her security, outside her home, the Morning Show star mentioned that it’s a “necessity” and “not glamorous in any way”.
Jennifer’s longtime friend Sandra Bullock also discussed her terrifying experience of stalking in 2014.
“It makes me think, ‘Do I really have to go outside and navigate the world?’ It's ongoing. It's not a one-off,” stated the Speed actress.
Elaborating on how to deal with fear, Jennifer mentioned that hypnotherapy and calming apps have helped her, but the fact is her empathy for others can succeed her own fear.
“When there's someone in need of being calmed, I have such empathy for it that all of a sudden my fear goes out the window,” noted the 56-year-old.
Elsewhere in the interview, Jennifer reflected on her acting career, saying, “What helped raise me is something I got to put into the world and help other people.”
“If Friends was the only thing on my résumé, I would be very happy and blessed,” she declared.
Meanwhile, the actress added that the 2021 Friends reunion “was a final curtain call for the six cast members” while referring to Matthew Perry’s death back in 2023.
