Liam Neeson’s new movie earned rave reviews from audience and critics
Liam Neeson has recently opened up about a sequel to The Naked Gun movie.
The actor’s new movie, which is a reboot of the spoof comedy franchise, earned more than $42 million in its first two weeks at the global box office.
Liam, who reprise his role as Lieutenant Frank Drebin Jr in the comedy, told Newsweek, “I think it's a one-off, yeah. And if it succeeds, good.”
“I think the film's going to have a few giggles and a few laughs in it, and God, we all need that at the minute,” said the 73-year-old.
The Ice Road actor pointed out, “I think it's probably a one-off. Not that the experience wasn't great, it was.”
“It's terrific, working with Pamela, Danny Huston, all these terrific guys,” added Liam.
Besides Pamel and Danny, Kevin Durand and Paul Walter Hauser also star in the movie, which features cameos from former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping and WWE wrestler Cody Rhodes.
Directed by Akiva Schaffer and produced by Seth MacFarlane, the script is written by Dan Gregor, Doug Man and Schaffer, who collaborated on 2022’s popular Emmy-winning Chip ‘N Dale: Rescue Rangers.
