Amy Schumer is recovering from recent back surgery she underwent after surfing accident.

The 44-year-old shared with her fans that she had an operation on her spine because the accident caused her L5 to hurt badly.

The Life & Beth actress took to Instagram Story to put up a picture of herself lying in the hospital bed.

She wrote a joke over her picture showing her post surgery.

The joke read, "Overheard post back surgery 'pickleball keeps this place in business.'"

Another picture was shared on the social media platform that showed the Trainwreck alum at home standing with the walking frame.

The post was captioned as, "Since my surfing injury back in the day my L5 has been killing me. Today I got a laminectomy! It’s a short recovery and when I’m feeling better I will buy a bra!"

Her fans and Instagram followers were quick to flood her comment section with supportive messages.
