Macaulay Culkin gave his verdict on which Home Alone film he enjoyed working on the most.
Culkin played the mischievous and smart young boy, Kevin McCallister in the film series, who is left behind by his family during Christmas vacations. He then uses his wit to outdo the burglars when his family home is under threat.
In the latest episode of Hot Ones, he was asked to pick one of his favourite instalment from the series.
Culkin did not hesitate to name Home Alone 2: Lost in New York over the original film.
"I got paid more. I think I own five percent of the net. And also 15 perfect of the merchandising," he quipped.
"So, if you buy a Talkboy I’m like yeah, I’ll take 15 percent of that. Thank you very much. By the way, buy a Talkboy this Christmas."
Over the years both Home Alone films are considered classics, previously when the actor received a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame, his on-screen mother Catherine O’Hara attended the event to deliver a heartwarming speech.
"Home Alone was, is and always will be a beloved global sensation the reason families all over the world can’t let a year go by without watching and loving Home Alone together is because of Macaulay Culkin," O'Hara said at that time.
Recently, Culkin voiced a character in 2022's animated musical film Entergalactic named Marc. The movie was created by Kid Cudi and Kenya Barris.
