After the global success of Final Destination: Bloodlines, its seventh instalment is in works.
Bloodlines, opened at number one at the global box office this May, with $51 million domestic debut achieving the best opening weekend in the series’ history.
By the end of it's the theatrical run, the overall horror series has earned over $983 million worldwide, making it New Line studio's third-biggest horror franchise after, The Conjuring series and IT movies.
The upcoming film is being penned by Lori Evans Taylor, the co-writer of previous movie.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Craig Perry, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, Jon Watts, Dianne McGunigle and Toby Emmerich will also return to produce the Warner Bros. and New Line studio movie with Warren Zide executive producing.
Taylor co-wrote the screenplay for Bloodlines with Gary Busick, reviving a franchise that had been dormant for 14 years following 2011's Final Destination 5.
Bloodlines follows Stefani Reyes (Brec Bassinger), a college student who inherits deadly premonitions from her grandmother Iris (Kandyse McClure). When death targets her family and comes for her younger brother Charlie (Kai Cech), Stefani races to break the curse before it wipes out her entire bloodline.
Taylor is also known for the 2024 psychological thriller Cellar Door and 2022's Bed Rest, a supernatural thriller starring Melissa Barrera, with which Taylor made her directorial debut.
