Sydney Sweeney rumoured to be the top choice for next Bond girl?

Rumour has it that Sydney Sweeney is the top contender to become the next Bond girl.

According to RadarOnline.com, a source revealed that director Denis Villeneuve is eager to cast the Anyone But You star.

Even Amazon head Jeff Bezos backed Sydney for 'Bond' as the Amazon MGM Studios gains Bond franchise control earlier in February.

It is pertinent to mention that the Immaculate actress also attended Jeff’s recent wedding to Lauren Sánchez in Venice.

“Sydney is the top name on the casting sheet for Bond,” said an insider.

Meanwhile, another source mentioned, “Denis has admired her stratospheric rise and believes she is hugely talented, as well as having an alluring appeal to younger generations, vital in modernizing the franchise.”

“Sydney has the quality of being athletic and able to perform physical scenes, as well as being feminine and following in the legacy of Bond girls,” explained a source.

Lately, the actress is busy training to play boxer Christy Martin in a new biopic set for release later this year.

“I weight-trained in the morning for an hour, kickboxed midday for about two hours and then weight-trained again at night for an hour,” she told W Magazine.
