‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ filming kicked off in city’s centre last Friday
Spider-Man: Brand New Day shoot days in Glasgow has extended.
After transforming the Scottish city into New York, the filming began in and around Bothwell Street last Friday.
As per The Sun, it was originally due to run until August 15 but the schedule has been extended until August 26, after moviemakers secured permission from Glasgow City Council.
Shooting of the blockbuster film has generated excitement among locals and visitors, thousands have fly to Glasgow to get a glimpse of their beloved web slinger.
Tom Holland has performed couple of stunts until now involving tanks, car chases with NYPD motors in pursuit and controlled explosions.
A stuntman in Spider-Man suit was also spotted swinging through the air as he made his way down Bothwell Street.
The film is the fourth instalment of Holland as Peter Parker with fiancée Zendaya tipped to return as love interest MJ.
Joining the cast are Jon Bernthal as vigilante the Punisher and Stranger Things actress Sadie Sink as a new character.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is slated for release on July 31, 2026.
