Chad Michael Murray recalled being the first ever on-screen kiss of Lindsay Lohan on set of 2003's Freaky Friday.

Murray played Jake, the love interest of Lohan's Anna Coleman in the Disney's comedy film.

While going down the memory lane of his career milestones, Murray talked about the nervous energy on the set between him and Lohan before the scene.

"I remember Lindsay and I were kids. I mean Lindsay was probably 16, I think. That was her first onscreen kiss," he told the People magazine. "That was a whole thing. That was super nerve-racking."

Expressing gratitude to co-star Curtis, the seasoned actress who guided the young stars through awkwardness, Murray said, "Jamie helped us through all that."

"I remember just trying to hang on and hope that no one figured out I wasn't very good at this," the Gilmore Girls actor explained.

"I just remember just hoping I didn't screw it up," Murray continued, "I remember her being so supportive and loving, Jamie, and I remember her being playful and bright."

One Tree Hill star then went to compare the difference between cast behaviour in the new film with the original one.

He said that everyone is "comfortable in their craft." Praising his co-stars Murray continued, "Lindsay's so good in this movie. She's so good in this movie. Jamie is so good in this movie. The physical comedy that they both bring to this picture is insane."

In the original film, teenaged Anna swapped bodies with her mother Tess (Curtis). Meanwhile, Jake mistakenly falls for Tess while Anna is trapped inside of her body.

The sequel Freakier Friday is slated for release on August 8.
