Machine Gun Kelly reveals private Super Bowl exchange with Taylor Swift
Machine Gun Kelly is opening up about a candid conversation he had with Taylor Swift while the Kansas City Chiefs were losing to the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl 2025.
During his appearance on ABC News Live on Wednesday, August 6, the pop-punk artist reflected on what he thought would be a “legendary” night for the Chiefs.
He offered a glimpse into his chat with the Anti-Hero hitmaker.
Kelly recalled, “I was in Travis [Kelce's] suite, and at the beginning, Taylor was like, ‘Hell yeah, we're gonna come watch you perform — it's gonna be crazy tonight.’
“By the third quarter, dude, I was looking at that score, and I went up to Taylor like, ‘Y’all aren't coming tonight, huh?’”
He then shared her response, adding, “She was like, ‘I don’t think so, man. I’ll see if I can get him to get out, but I don’t think so.’”
Kelly has previously expressed admiration for both Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
In an exclusive chat with Hot Ones Versus in April 2024, the 35-year-old said, “Also, Taylor is a saint and very nice to me, and Travis is my bro."
On professional front, MGK's album Lost Americana is slated to release on Friday, August 8.
