Blake Lively accuses blogger Perez Hilton for partaking in smear campaign
Blake Lively has once again taken legal action against blogger Perez Hilton after he refused to answer the subpoena she issued.
The 37-year-old actress filed another motion against the social media creator accusing him of creating a false narrative against her amid the ongoing legal war with Justin Baldoni.
After Hilton requested for a protective order against Lively, following the subpoena, Lively responded on Wednesday, August 6, and claimed the internet star hand over all the documents demanded in her original subpoena, including internet records, and personal correspondence.
The Gossip Girl alum accused Hilton of propagating the narrative created by Baldoni’s team as she stated, “Since August 2024, Mr. Hilton has created more than 500 pieces of video content about Ms. Lively, almost entirely disparaging, and about the same number of posts of sensational headlines,” as per documents obtained by Us Weekly.
Lively’s legal team went on to claim that “Hilton’s videos are punctuated by name-calling, Ms. Lively, coining mocking terms for her, including ”Blackface Blake,” “Lying Lively,” “Ku Klux Khaleesi,” and “Litigious Lively.”
The It Ends With Us actress slammed Hilton’s comments stating that he was practicing his rights as a journalist and wrote, “On his various Platforms, Mr. Hilton does not hold himself out as operating as an independent journalist, nor does he purport to follow any of the tenets of independent journalism.”
The legal motion demanded that Hilton submits the requested documents within seven days.
