Lady Gaga offers personal condolences to Sharon Osbourne after Ozzy's death
Lady Gaga buries the hatchet with Sharon Osbourne after Ozzy’s tragic death
Lady Gaga is sharing her condolences with Sharon Osbourne following the sudden loss of Ozzy Osbourne.
The Mayhem singer, who performed a cover of the Black Sabbath frontman’s solo hit Crazy Train during her Mayhem Ball show in San Francisco, took the liberty of offering her condolences to Sharon in person.
A source close to the pop superstar spoke to The Sun about the 39-year-old’s reaction to Ozzy’s death.
The insider told the outlet, “The flowers must have cost hundreds, but Gaga wanted to reach out.
“Gaga has always been a huge fan of Ozzy and the Osbournes – before she was famous, she even used to strip to Black Sabbath's Black Sabbath.
“She once told Ozzy – he found it hilarious.”
This comes a decade after Gaga had a public feud with Sharon, following Kelly Osbourne’s controversial comments about the superstar’s weight, which infuriated her fans.
At the time, Gaga responded to Kelly’s remarks by saying, “I have empathy for you, Kelly, but I feel it is culturally important to note that you have chosen a less compassionate path. Your work on E! with the Fashion Police is rooted in criticism, judgement, and rating people’s beauty against one another.”
For the unversed, Ozzy passed away on July 22 and was laid to rest in his hometown of Birmingham, England, just a few days later.
