Dave Franco reveals most embarrassing moment after 'Superbad' movie
American actor explains what made him pursue acting career
Dave Franco has recently recalled his most embarrassing moment after Superbad movie.
The Scrubs star revealed he made a small appearance in the 2007 comedy and in one of his scenes, Jonah Hill character called out his character for “peeing his pants”.
Dave mentioned that this role led to his most awkward interactions with fans in public.
“I had a journey with that scene in and of itself, where I only have a few lines in this movie, but the movie was so big that people did recognise me on the street,” said the 40-year-old during an appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast.
Together actor continued, “And they were yelling at me, ‘Why don’t you go piss your pants again?'”
However, Dave pointed out that this interaction pushed him to do more auditioning for the roles.
“I quickly realised, ‘I gotta keep working and get more jobs, so I'm not piss boy for the rest of my life.,’” noted the Now You See Me actor.
Elsewhere in the interview, Dave also shared what it’s like growing up with his star brother James Franco.
“My real name is David, but no one has ever really called me that. And when I was a kid, my brother had this kid in his class named David that he hated. So, he said, 'You're not gonna be named David,” explained the Neighbors actor.
He added, “That's how I became Davey. And I guess, you know, the people that know me well, most people call me Davey.”
