Lindsay Lohan pays homage to 'Freaky Friday' main character
Lindsay Lohan's style tribute to 'The Parent Trap' and 'Freaky Friday'
Lindsay Lohan attended the London premiere of her latest movie, Freakier Friday, on Thursday, July 31, and paid homage to her earlier roles in a stunning way.
The 39-year-old actress wore a custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin design that resembled her character Anna Coleman's final costume in the original 2003 film Freaky Friday.
The bejeweled sheath gown featured intricate designs on the hips and straps, with white and silver gemstones across the hem.
Lohan's stylist, Andrew Mukamal, styled her for the event, giving a modern twist to the classic look.
She paired the gown with a vintage Judith Leiber bag modeled after a red electric guitar, diamond drop earrings, and her engagement ring.
Her makeup was subdued, drawing attention to the costume replica, with a soft, neutral look that included light pink blush, neutral matte lipstick, and pinkish nude eyeshadow.
This isn't the first time Lohan has given a nod to her previous roles. Earlier in the week, she appeared on Good Morning America in a yellow outfit that recalled Annie James' British preppy yellow cardigan outfit in the 1998 movie The Parent Trap.
The outfit had a "Freakier Friday twist," featuring a two-piece coordinating set in a trendy butter yellow from Balmain's pre-spring 2026 collection. She accessorized with oversized tortoiseshell sunglasses, a yellow headband, and bright yellow heels.
Freakier Friday, the sequel to the 2003 fan favorite Freaky Friday, arrives in theaters on August 8. The film follows a grown-up Anna, played by Lohan, who finds herself in a familiar situation as she prepares to become a stepmother.
