Jenna Ortega ditches signature black outfits for ‘Wednesday’ Season 2
'Wednesday' star Jenna Ortega turns heads with unexpected shift in style for Season Two premiere
Jenna Ortega is moving on from her signature black outfits with a new look ahead of the brand new season of Wednesday.
Ditching her gothic wardrobe the actress, who stars in the titular role of the popular Netflix series, surprised everyone at the Season Two: Part One World Premiere in London with a serpentine-inspired look.
The BeetleJuice BeetleJuice star showed off her curves by donning a figure-hugging nude dress featuring a snakeskin design from the high neck to the peplum skirt, creating a shedding effect.
Styled by Enrique Melendez, the 22-year-old actress wore the Ashi Studio FW25 Couture creation at the Wednesday, July 30, event with her locks collected in a slicked back ponytail.
She completed her makeup with a berry red lip tint, spider lashes, purple mascara and bleached eyebrows.
The Scream actress paired her floor sweeping dresses with Jimmy Choo shoes, nude nails and silver jewellery.
The nude gown marked a noticeable departure from the black-on-black looks that defined Ortega’s red carpet and on-screen presence during the entire first season of Wednesday.
Fully embracing the character’s gothic style, she wore an all-black Versace gown with a sculpted bodice at the 2023 SAG Awards, and a backless, hooded black dress at the Saint Laurent Menswear Fall/Winter 2023 show.
Additionally, Netflix has announced that Wednesday Season 2 will be split into two parts.
Part One premieres on Wednesday, August 6, followed by Part Two on Wednesday, September 3.
