Andy Cohen has recently made surprising admission about And Just Like That cameo.

The Watch What Happens Live host discussed his acting during an appearance on latest episode of his radio show, SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.

“I thought it would be funny, I was talking to Amy Sedaris. Before I got the script, I thought it would be really funny if Carrie came up to the counter and I was like, ‘Oh, hey Carrie. You’re still past due on your bill,’” said the 57-year-old.

Andy explained, “I wanted to think of some shady improv line to break her up, but it turned out that was not the scene.”

“It was really just me walking by her as it were, and so when we shot it, now it is documented what a bad actor I am,” continued the talk show host.

Andy pointed out, “It was really, when we shot it, I think the line in the script was just like, ‘Oh, hey Carrie. I’ll be with you in a sec,’ and she’s like, ‘Okay, Daniel,’ and that was kind of it.”

“There’s a lot of blocking involved and I’m not good at it, but I started to do it a couple times, and then [showrunner] Michael Patrick King came out and said, ‘Look, why don’t you say to her, ‘Hey, Carrie. I’m slammed. I’ll be with you in a minute.’’ So, I was like, ‘Okay.’”

Interestingly, Michael reprimanded Andy and told him, “This is a really pivotal scene for Carrie.”

“You're stealing focus from Carrie... The episode title should now be called 'Daniel's Busiest Day.' And it's not about 'Daniel's Busiest Day,' keep it on Carrie!’”

Meanwhile, Sarah Jessica Parker joined in too, giving Andy some advice about how to deliver the line.

“It was very specific and I was saying it in the wrong place… I was just a disaster. But it was so funny, the idea that it was 'Daniel's Busy Day’,” stated the talk show host.

As far as the final product is concerned, Andy added that it was “the best they could get”.
