'Kingsman' actor Taron Egerton admits 'feeling worse' on returning to social media
Taron Egerton to feature in new film 'She Rides Shotgun'
Taron Egerton, who has been away from social media for a while now, has finally marked his return just for one reason.
The 35-year-old is not very fond of the internet and he thinks it is bad for his mental health.
Egerton decided to return to social media just to promote his upcoming film, She Rides Shotgun.
He admitted in a statement, "I got back on to promote this movie. This movie is a bit of a little engine. It's harder to spread the word of a movie of this size."
However, the Carry-on star regrets his decision as he "feels worse” on returning to the public eye.
Taron added on the Today show, "I genuinely don't think it's good for your mental health. I will be hopping back off once the film is out."
He confessed, "I think I'm better off without it."
The forthcoming thriller features him alongside Ana Sophia Heger, Rob Yang, John Carroll Lynch and others.
Backed by Amazon MGM, She Rides Shotgun is set to release on August 1.
