Dean Cain has recently broken silence on sexual harassment in Hollywood.
The Vendetta actor revealed that he was sexually harassed by a show business executive in an exclusive interview with Variety.
“I could have had the biggest sexual harassment lawsuit in Hollywood history,” said the 58-year-old, who played the role of the Man of Steel on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman from 1993-1997.
Dean admitted that he “never before told a reporter” about the harassment which he described as “historic”.
However, this incident had a huge impact on his professional and personal lives.
“The harassment [against the actor] took its toll on his relationship at the time with' Gabrielle Reece,” mentioned Dean as he gave reference of his high-profile relationship with the model.
But the American actor, who has also been seen on shows such as Las Vegas, Clubhouse and Beverly Hills, 90210, didn’t disclose the names or add any revealing details about the alleged culprit.
Nevertheless, Dean opened up that he felt like “suing” after the experience left him financially exploited.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, the actor was not given his due payments for the work of bodies.
“I didn't know enough back then about residuals,” pointed out Dean.
He further shared that Warner Bros. “buries the bodies deep and makes it look like it's lost money. There's no possible way”.
“But I should have sued. George Clooney did it. He sued on ER and got a big payout for his participation,” recalled the actor.
Dean added that he was advised not to because, “You don't want to bite the hand that feeds you”.
