Heidi Klum up for cosmetic surgery as she embraces ageing
Heidi Klum clears out biggest misconception about women over 50 in a new interview
Heidi Klum has recently revealed she’s open to the idea of plastic surgery as she embraces ageing.
Speaking to PEOPLE, the Victoria's Secret alum declared she’s “all for Botox”.
“Whoever wants to talk about [plastic surgery] and wants to share, give me all the numbers,” said the 52-year-old.
Heidi also cleared out the biggest misconception about a woman over 50 is that they are “off the shelf”.
“You're not off the shelf,” she remarked.
The America’s Got Talent judge pointed out that women “are very much on that shelf for everyone to see”.
Heidi also advised women not to hide in their 50s because beauty is “ever-changing” and she’s here for the change.
“If it’s always the same, life is boring,” stated the model.
Heidi asked, “Don't we all want to get old? I know we always say that, but it's the truth.”
She’s “already looking at 60 and 70, hopefully 80 and 90. And if we're still kicking it then, let's celebrate”.
Elsewhere in the interview, Heidi also reflected on ageism in the modeling industry.
“For me to be older, it doesn't matter. I don't have this age-shaming or body-shaming thing. I feel like everyone should do what they want to do,” suggested the TV personality.
Heidi further said, “Now it's okay to be older — but it didn't use to be like that.”
However, she added, “I feel like we're more welcoming of wrinkles and rolls on our body. Being accepted at every age is amazing. That we've changed and come all that way.”
