Sydney Sweeney's recent getaway sparks speculation about her love life

Sydney Sweeney has been making headlines again, this time for her lakeside getaway with a mystery man. 

The 27-year-old actress was seen enjoying quality time with friends and family at her family's lake house in northern Idaho, but it was her interactions with the unidentified man that sparked romance rumours.

The Euphoria star and her mystery man were spotted engaging in various activities, including riding a jet ski together, with him holding her waist, and visiting a secluded area with a rope swing, where he encouraged her to dive into the water. 

The pair seemed to be having a great time, and their chemistry was palpable. Sweeney wore a black one-piece swimsuit, while her companion sported swim trunks, sneakers, and a life vest.

This lakeside outing comes amid recent backlash over Sweeney's American Eagle campaign, which some critics deemed tone-deaf and containing racial undertones. 

Despite the controversy, Sweeney appears to be focused on her career, with her upcoming film, The Housemaid, generating significant buzz. 

The psychological thriller, directed by Paul Feig, follows Sweeney's character, Millie, as she becomes embroiled in a complex and dangerous situation while working for an affluent family.

The White Lotus alum's personal life has been the subject of speculation, particularly following her split from ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino, a producer she had been dating since 2018. 

While there have been rumours linking her to co-stars Brandon Sklenar and Glen Powell, Sweeney has not publicly confirmed any relationships. 

In an interview, she mentioned being single and enjoying her newfound freedom, saying, "I'm learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I'm loving it."
