In a clip posted on Instagram, the Night Museum star revealed he has the best time working with Never Been Kissed actress during an appearance on Drew Barrymore Show.
Ben also recommends anybody who has a chance to do a movie with Drew, they should do it because it’s “literally the best experience”.
Gushing over the Charlie’s Angels actress, the Zoolander actor said, “You are who you are in real life.”
“This beautiful positivity that you put out to the world is who you are,” mentioned the 59-year-old.
Sharing his experience on Duplex set, Ben pointed out that it was so much fun.
Meet the Parents admitted on the show that he’s not a positive person but she “lifted” her up.
“I really enjoyed it with you,” stated Ben.
To which Drew added that she also enjoyed working with him on the set.
It is pertinent to mention that Ben was accompanied by Adam Scott who came to promote the second season of his Apple TV+ series, Severance.
Elsewhere on the show, the actor opened up that he’s “looking forward to directing more movies” moving forward.
“It’s funny I feel like I've been sort of I've been hiding out a little bit in non-comedies as a director and actor because I think comedies are harder,” he told Drew when she asked about making comedies.
Ben further said, “It's challenging because when you make a comedy people expect to laugh, and if you don't, a very measurable goal and if you don't hit it.”
“There's nothing more fun though, as I'm sure you know, than sitting in the audience of like at a movie theatre watching a comedy,” he noted.
