Taylor Swift's kindness to Adam Sandler's family wins hearts
Adam Sandler has spoken highly of pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL tight end Travis Kelce, offering personal insight into their character.
During promotion for the July 25 release of Happy Gilmore 2 on Netflix, Sandler praised both stars, describing Kelce as a "gentle, nice guy" and "funny as hell."
He added, "He's like the guys I grew up with... reminded me of my buddies in high school."
Sandler also complimented Kelce's acting abilities, calling him a "great actor and a great human." Kelce makes a cameo appearance in Happy Gilmore 2, alongside other celebrity guests, including Bad Bunny, Scott Mescudi, and several pro golfers.
According to Julie Bowen, who stars in the film alongside Sandler, featuring celebrity cameos was a straightforward process during filming. "Everybody wanted to be in it," Bowen noted.
Sandler also spoke warmly of Swift, sharing stories of her kindness to his daughters, Sadie and Sunny. He recalled a 2023 premiere of Swift's Eras Tour Film in Los Angeles, noting, "Taylor is so damn nice to my family and has always been... she's ridiculously nice to them and warm."
The Murder Mystery 2 star admitted to feeling nervous around Swift, saying he "sometimes gets jumpy... because I want to make a good impression for my kids."
Sandler's endorsement offers a compelling spotlight on this high-profile duo, highlighting their kindness, talent, and good humour.
