Jamie Lee Curtis: 'Freakier Friday' is a love letter to every woman
Hollywood actress discusses upcoming movie and her experience with Lindsay Lohan
Jamie Lee Curtis has recently reflected on her experience working on new Freakier Friday movie alongside Lindsay Lohan.
While speaking at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards, the True Lies actress explained how wild was the experience of working it after over two decades.
“It’s wild because it’s a movie for today’s generation,” said the 66-year-old.
Jamie mentioned all the emotions for her new project, calling it “happy, nostalgic, funny, sweet, heartfelt” Disney movie.
The Last Showgirl actress pointed out that there have a lot of movies for women but Jamie believed this is “a love letter” to “every mother, every grandma, every sister, every cousin and every daughter”.
Elsewhere in the interview, Jamie was asked how it was working with Lindsay in this new movie after 22 years.
“She has taught me so much,” replied the Perfect actress.
Jamie continued that Lindsay has her team who have a big light and whenever she does press meet on a red carpet, her two team members would stand on either side of the camera holding this big light to look better.
Before concluding, the seasoned actress said that they had a good time and they “love each other”.
Meanwhile, Freakier Friday will hit the cinemas on August 28.
