James Gunn shared rare details on the forthcoming projects by DC Studio.

Following the Superman box office achievement, Next up for franchise is Peacemaker season two, Supergirl movie, Lanterns TV series in 2026 and Clayface which is set to release later this year.

In an appearance at the CBS Mornings, the Guardians of the Galaxy star filmmaker revealed that fans need to be accepting towards each project's unique flavour and tone.

"Clayface is a totally different thing. Although it's in the same universe, it's a complete horror film, and that's one of the things we want to do," Gunn said.

"There's not a company style. It's not like every movie is gonna be like Superman," he continued. "The artists and the directors and the writers that create each one will bring their own sense to it. We don't want people being bored."

The director also shared that while Superman was brightly-coloured film, the next year's Supergirl will be a full-blown space fantasy.

As per Variety, DC Studios parent company Warner Bros. already has sequel options on David Corenswet, who stars as Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. However, the sequel doesn’t seem to be happening any time soon.

Currently the studio is seemingly busy with development of Wonder Woman and Batman film, different from Matt Reeves and Robert Pattison’s which exists out of Gunn's DCU.

Gunn's Superman is now running in theatres.
