Glen Powell has recently revealed his mother is not happy with his stunts in The Running Man.

The Anyone But You star, who plays the role of Ben Richards in adaptation of Stephen King's 1982 novel, shared that his mother Cyndy is concerned about the stunts in the movie.

“I’m getting to do some really cool stuff,” said the 36-year-old.

However, he quipped, “That really worries my mom.”

According to official plotline, the story revolves around Glen’s character who participated in a game show where “runner” contestants are required to escape death from professional killers in order to win a giant cash prize.

The Hit Man actor stated there is “a lot of running” in the upcoming movie as he noted there’s going to get him kicked for two hours in this movie.

“You have a guy that’s basically on the run, at the highest stakes game show of all time, where the survival rate is zero, and he’s trying to beat the odds,” he told the outlet.

Glen believed, “It’s a great underdog story.”

In another interview with PEOPLE, the Top Gun: Maverick actor mentioned that Arnold Schwarzenegger had given him his blessing, who played the same in 1987 adaptation.

“Arnold’s son Patrick Schwarzenegger is a great friend of mine, and I asked Patrick if I could talk to Arnold and I hadn't seen Arnold since we shot Expendables in Bulgaria,” recalled Glen.

The Twisters actor further said, “Arnold gave us his full blessing and we get to give Terminator star a very specific fun gift from the movie in a couple of weeks here.”

“So, I'm very excited to see him,” added Glen.

Meanwhile, The Running Man will hit the theatres on November 7.
