Keanu Reeves spends 'thousands' to protect fans from online scammers

Keanu Reeves is one of those Hollywood stars who is conscious of protecting his fans from scammers online.

Reportedly, the actor keeps a very keen eye on fake profiles pretending to be him online.

Imitators have been around since the inception of the internet, and they are increasing day by day with prevalence of AI and fake technology.

The John Wick star spends thousands of dollars each month to scrub all the fake profiles existing online.

However, Reeves does not have any social media account, which is the reason why he is often impersonated on the internet and he himself is pretty much aware of the problem.

As per the latest reports, the Matrix actor pays a few thousand dollars a month to an AI company named Loti that specializes in protecting big celebrities and public figures from online threats.

With the help of the company, Keanu shut down his fake TikTok and Meta accounts.

Luke Arrigoni, company’s founder and data scientist opened that the Speed actor is keenly dedicated at fixing the issue.

“He cares very much about how his fans are treated, and he’s very invested in trying to solve this problem”, Luke told The Hollywood Reporter.
