The devil is officially back in some Prada, and she’s bringing some big names with her.
According to Variety, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet and more have joined the high-fashion chaos in The Devil Wears Prada 2. The upcoming sequel will also feature comedian Caleb Hearon and Broadway talents Helen J. Shen and Conrad Ricamora.
They’ll star alongside returning icons Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, who are all reprising their roles from the beloved 2006 original.
Tracie Thoms (Lily) and Tibor Feldman (Irv Ravitz) are also making a comeback, while Bridgerton breakout Simone Ashley has landed a mysterious role in the film, per Deadline.
And in a bit of perfect casting, Kenneth Branagh is set to play Miranda Priestly’s husband — a character never seen in the first film but long speculated about by fans.
Notably absent from the confirmed cast list is Adrian Grenier, who played Hathaway’s on-screen boyfriend Nate. His return is not expected.
While plot details remain tightly under wraps, 20th Century Studios revealed that filming is already underway.
The long-awaited sequel to the Oscar-nominated film is reported to hit theatres on May 1, 2026. however, no official release date has been confirmed.
