Chase Sui Wonders recently opened up about a hilarious moment on set that left her mortified.
During an interview with co-star Sarah Pidgeon for i-D, Chase who is starring in the upcoming film I Know What You Did Last Summer, recalled a time when she accidentally referred to Freddie Prinze Jr. as "daddy" while filming.
As Sarah Pidgeon shared the story, Chase clarified that it was an honest mistake. "I accidentally called him daddy," she admitted.
According to Sarah, the incident occurred while they were filming some pick-up scenes in LA, and Freddie Prinze Jr. was present. Chase had been discussing his iconic movie roles, including his part in "Scooby-Doo."
"You became Daphne... 'I can look at myself naked,'" Chase joked, imitating Freddie's character. He reportedly responded with a laugh, saying, "That was pretty good!"
However, things took a turn when Chase started talking about her dad being a huge fan of Freddie's movie Summer Catch. When asked about the plot, Chase stumbled over her words, saying, "When, daddy in the movie... when dad..."
She recalled feeling extremely embarrassed, but fortunately, everyone around her burst out laughing, and Freddie played it cool.
