How did Michael Madsen die? Official cause of death revealed
'Reservoir Dogs' and 'Kill Bill' actor Michael Madsen was found dead at his home at the age of 67
In an update on the shocking death of actor Michael Madsen, the official cause of his passing has now been confirmed.
On Tuesday, July 8, it was revealed that Madsen died from heart failure, according to his cardiologist. The same reason was initially listed as a cause of death at the time of his passing last week.
The doctor stated that heart failure will be recorded as the official cause of death, with heart disease and alcoholism listed as contributing factors, according to People, citing NBC4 Los Angeles.
Five days after the Reservoir Dogs star was found dead at his home in Malibu, California at the age of 67, the NBC affiliate stated that an autopsy will not be conducted because the cardiologist signed the actor's death certificate.
It is said that the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department has closed its investigation into Madsen's death and listed his demise as from natural causes.
Last week the Kill Bill actor’s manager confirmed that he died from "cardiac arrest," but Madsen’s lawyer Perry Wander claimed that the movie star drank himself to death and blamed the actor's two former wives for making him miserable.
