Sydney Sweeney makes cryptic comment about Margot Robbie's 'Barbie 2'

Sydney Sweeney made a comment about Barbie that has left fans wondering if a sequel is in works.
Rumours are already circulating all over the internet that Barbie 2 is in development.
However, neither lead star Margot Robbie nor director Greta Gerwig have confirmed the new installment.
Even though, the success of the first flick makes it Warner Bros’ priority to think about a sequel, but Gerwig hasn’t been on-board with another film.
But Sweeney recently made a statement which might be a hint of a second entry.
According to Bustle, the Euphoria actress was asked if she would play the role of Barbie’s sister if offered.
To which Sydney replied that she would want to read the script first. But the 27-year-old was sure that she won’t "oppose" to the offer.
“I'd have to read a script, but I'm a huge, huge fan of Margot Robbie, so I would not be opposed to it”, said Anyone but You actress said.
The 2023 fantasy comedy movie starring Robbie turned out to be a blockbuster of the year.
It grossed over $1.44 billion becoming the highest-grossing film of the year.
Barbie also featured Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell, Emma Mackey, Simu Liu and others.
