Robert Pattinson’s Batman Part II script has been finalized.
Writer and director Matt Reeves took it to his X a few days ago confirming that he has completed the screenplay for the upcoming DC comics movie.
He posted a picture of the script which had the Batman logo on it. The photo also featured Reeves with co-writer Mattson Tomlin sitting in the background.
As per the latest development, DC CEO James Gunn, who is currently busy promoting his new movie Superman, shared his opinion regarding the script.
At the world premiere of the David Corenswet starrer film in Los Angeles on Monday July 7, the filmmaker was asked if he has read the screenplay of the new Batman sequel.
While giving his early verdict, Gunn simply responded to ScreenRant saying, “It’s great!”
Ever since, the write up of the movie was in the drafting phase, fans repeatedly kept on asking for an update which James responded quite patiently for a while.
But there also came a point where he got frustrated and simply told the franchise lovers, "People should get off Matt's nuts because it's like, let the guy write the screenplay in the amount of time he needs to write it. That's just the way it is.”
Backed by Warner Bros, Reeves’ directorial is slated to come out in 2027.
