Anna Kendrick wants to keep her love life 'lowkey' and 'casual'
Anna Kendrick and Alex Edelman have sparked romance rumours after photos surfaced of the couple in a car together in Los Angeles.
A source close to the pair confirms to People magazine that they "have been dating for several months" and that their relationship doesn't seem casual.
According to the insider, Kendrick, 39, and Edelman, 36, celebrated his birthday together in March, and she's even met his mom. The source adds that the couple enjoys low-key dates at non-traditional celebrity hangouts.
"Anna's very private, though. They enjoy date night at low-key restaurants that are not your typical celeb hangouts," the source added.
The Another Simple Favor actress has been linked to several high-profile celebrities in the past, including Edgar Wright, Ben Richardson, and Bill Hader. She previously opened up about her dating history, saying, "I'm just so happy that I'm clearer now about what I will accept from people in my life."
The Pitch Perfect star also shared her thoughts on relationships, stating, "People come into your life and you grow and they change you, and what you learn from them might be really positive or it might be negative."
She has also spoken publicly about her experience with emotional abuse in a past relationship. In a recent Call Her Daddy podcast episode, she revealed that she was in an abusive relationship for seven years and found it difficult to identify at first.
"I was reading all the articles and going, '... Some of it looks like how they're describing it, but not completely,'" she recalled.
