James Gunn has confirmed that he will be collaborating with David Corenswet again.
The director actor duo has recently teamed up for the new Superman movie which is set to release this July 11.
Besides that, Gunn has also teased that he has started working on his next project, which is not a direct sequel to the forthcoming superhero movie, but it will include Corenswet’s "Man of Steel".
In an interview, the 58-year-old filmmaker revealed that David asked him about his new project and showed interest in being a part of it.
DC CEO told Omelete, “[Corenswet] was asking me what I was working on ... He knows that I'm working on something. He knows he's a part of it. He doesn't know what it is … literally nothing.”
Reportedly, Gunn is working on the Peacemaker season 2 and fans speculate that the 31-year-old might feature in the HBO Max show.
Meanwhile, the 2025 Superman featuring David as Clark Kent will depict a confrontation between him and Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor.
The upcoming action sci-fi also features Milly Alcock and Rachel Brosnahan.
