'Barbie' star fears that he won't be able to make his directorial debut movie
Michael Cera to direct Jamie Dornan, Pamela Anderson in new film
Superbad famed Michael Cera believes that he might miss the window of his first feature film.
In June, news came out that Cera is planning on directing his first film with Pamela Anderson, Jamie Dornan, Steve Coogan and Fred Hechinger featuring in key roles.
Titled as Love Is Not the Answer, his new movie is going to an absurdist comedy which Michael also co-wrote.
While speaking The Louis Theroux Podcast, the Barbie star confessed that he can’t say much about the film now until the cameras actually start rolling.
In a statement, he added, "I'm really hoping to make this movie, my first feature, this fall and I'm terrified that I won't, 'cause I feel like you get kind of a window with things, when everybody's schedules line up and then you've just got to get everything together.”
Michael continued, "If it goes past, things kind of die on the vine, or at least that's my paranoia about it, my fear is that we'll overshoot and we'll miss (the window).”
The 37-year-old is looking to forward to making it this fall. He is focused on not missing the chance.
