'High School Musical' star reflects on 'changes' kids bring in life

Ashley Tisdale, globally acclaimed for playing Sharpay Evans in High School Musical, has spoken about embracing parenthood.

Tisdale married partner Christopher French in 2014. The couple share two daughters Jupitar, who was born in 2021 and 10-months old, Emerson.

While talking about having children, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody famed actress opened that she believes kids highlights the "flaws" in marriage and change everything.

Having children makes a couple notice faults each other have.

Ashley said in an interview, "We definitely had a really good foundation of years to just learn about each other before having kids, which I think is so important because just kids change everything.”

She explained to PEOPLE, “One of the things I noticed is that it brings out the flaws more in each other, the flaws that you've always known about your person.”

But the 40-year-old also admits that "there's some people I know that literally get married and have kids, and they're really great, too. So, I don't know. Everyone is different."

Tisdale rose to fame with the 2006 family musical film which also starred Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens in key roles.
