Barbie Ferreira sheds light on how 'Euphoria' impacted her career
‘Euphoria’ star Barbie Ferreira on 'feeling free' after 'Euphoria' success
Barbie Ferreira shared her feelings about the success she gained from Euphoria and the new paths the rising actress is taking in her career.
Ferreira following her success in crime fiction series in which she played high school cam girl Kat, was picked to receive a rising star award at Mediterrane Film Festival's Golden Bee Awards.
During the blue carpet in Malta ahead of the event, in conversation with The Hollywood Reporter she said, "I feel really great about the fact that other people are seeing that I'm taking chances and doing indie films and theater, and I'm glad that people really like it. I’ve been doing things that fulfill me."
She went on talk about feeling "free" in her career by being able to produce material and go after stories she finds creatively fulfilling.
Praising the Sam Levinson's show on how it polished her skills, Ferreira added, "It informed everything."
"It was my first job and so I learned so much about myself, who I am as an actor and what I want to do. It was so fun and weird to be on a show that just blows up. All of a sudden, you're 22 and, like, what? I had no idea what to do," she told the outlet.
Ferreira continued lauding the show calling it a "really great crash course" for her career.
The emerging star won't be reprising her role in upcoming season 3, since she left the show after a mutual discussion, as per People Magazine.
Euphoria season three release date yet to be announced, however, it suspected that it will be aired in early 2026.
