David Corenswet shared his iconic superhero lineup for anymore future Superman adventures.
The Twisters star, while listing down his dream team, revealed the name of a rare DC comic superhero he wants his character to align with.
In a sit down with Comicbook with his co-stars Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane) and Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor), the actors were asked about one DC character that is not included in the upcoming Superhero film but they hope to share the screen with them one day.
Corenswett nearly went on give the popular answer to the question, however, he opted for an unlikely crime-solving partner.
After Brosnahan picked Batman and Hoult choose The Joker, Corenswet almost agreed with his on-screen love interests but then shared his interesting choice.
"I think Batman's gotta be my answer, but it just occurred to me that one of the Robins, one of the iterations of Robin, would be interesting," he said.
Giving the reason why, he went on to say, "I think Superman has good 'dad energy' and although it's been explored his relationships with his sons in certain iterations, I feel like it'd be interesting to have him as sort of an uncle figure to Batman's younger protégé."
He also shared his second choice that was top on his mind, saying that "Superman and Wonder Woman interests me."
Corenswet pitching idea for the possible crossover joked that they can a "love triangle" between Superman, Wonder Woman and Lois, to which Brosnahan quickly replied, "was about to say, Lois would have a lot to say about that."
While fans might have to wait for any of these pairings to come in action, they can currently entertain themselves with new Superman film releasing on July 11.
