John Leguizamo hypes up secret project 'The Odyssey' with Christopher Nolan
John Leguizamo stars in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ alongside Tom Holland, Matt Damon
John Leguizamo has remained tight-lipped about his upcoming project, The Odyssey, as per the wishes of director Christopher Nolan, but he promises greatness.
The 64-year-old actor recalled filming the movie and revealed which of his co-stars his character shares the most screen time with.
"It's a dream team," Leguizamo teased, talking about Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland.
The Bob Trevino Likes It star also heaped on praises for the star director revealing that Nolan is "protective" of the movie's details, but "understandably" so.
"It was like being with a visionary — like what I imagine it must have been like to work with Stanley Kubrick," Leguizamo went on to add. "Somebody creating worlds, and who thinks in a different way than the rest of us."
The actor also praised the script of the epic, sharing that they worked in several locations, "We were in amazing locations. It's seven countries. They're in Morocco, Greece, Sicily, back to L.A., and [Nolan is] bringing work back to L.A. and to America, which is incredible," he said.
"A huge American cast. It's diverse — oh my God, I just love this project," Leguizamo added.
The upcoming movie will be released on July 17, 2026.
