Charlize Theron opens up about being sexually harassed by a famous director but refuses to reveal his name.

While speaking on Call Her Daddy podcast on July 2, the Old Guard 2 star admitted she has “never said his name”

Explaining why she never mentioned his name, Charlize stated, “Honestly, I don’t want the story to be about him.”

“It’s not because I’m protecting him or anything,” remarked the 49-year-old.

Mad Max: Fury Road actress opened up that the director got nervous after she went public with the story six years ago.

“He knew it was about him, and he wrote me a pretend letter trying to explain his behaviour and how I must have misunderstood it, which is classic, isn’t it? It’s so classic,” pointed out Charlize.

The Hancock actress continued, “I won’t even say your name because you know you’re the scumbag. You know it’s you.”

“If anybody ever asked me about him, I would be completely honest and he knows that, she told the podcast host.

Charlize further said, “I kind of like that he’s got to be on a hot seat. He doesn’t know when it’s going to come. I kind of like that a little more.”

Elsewhere on the podcast, the actress reflected on early days of her career when her agency sent her on “a casting call” for a role, which took place the unnamed director’s house on a Saturday night.

“The little voice inside me definitely said, ‘This isn’t right,’” recounted Charlize.

Meanwhile, the actress called out those people who lashed out at women for coming out years after going through harassment.

“I remember being furious with myself because I couldn’t believe how I had let myself down. I beat myself up over that. You can say whatever you want. Trust me, you can’t hurt me more than I hurt myself about what happened that day,” she concluded.
