James Gunn's directed 'Superman' is set to release on July 11
David Corenswet will be featuring in the upcoming Superman directed by James Gunn.
The new action sci-fi is slated to hit theatres on July 11 also featuring Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Milly Alcock, and Isabel Merced.
According to executive producer Chantal Nong, the 35-year-old actor kept a very low-key approach to the superhero role.
He played a guy who “never fits in.”
Nong told Collider, "This Superman is a guy who’s never fit in, and yet, there’s so many ways that you can think about that.”
Producer explained that James Gunn got impressed with Corenswet’s values.
“He’s a really good, kind man, and if you think about goodness and kindness in the world right now, it’s more anomalous than you’d like for it to be.”
Chantal further stated, “David very much embodies that. He’s very low-key. He’s such a good guy. He’s always doing things for people."
Backed by Warner Bros, the upcoming Superman movie directed by Gunn.
