David Corenswet starrer 'Superman' is releasing on July 11
Superman director James Gunn has made a surprising revelation ahead of the release of his new movie.
The upcoming DC film starring David Corenswet will also feature Rachel Borsnahan, Isabel Merced, Nicholas Hoult, and others.
Besides these actors, Gunn has also teased that a marvel actor is going to make a special appearance in the new Superman film.
Bradley Cooper, who voiced Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy, will be featuring in the forthcoming project, depicting the character of Superman’s father Jor-El.
The 58-year-old filmmaker, in an interview, recalled asking Cooper for a favour. “Really, Bradley’s just doing me a favor. He’s a friend.”
While speaking with Jakes’ Takes, James shared, “We’ve stayed in close contact since the Guardians movies, and I admire him greatly as an actor and as a director.”
He continued, “I just said, ‘Hey, will you do me a favor? Come down, go to England, we’re going to shoot you in a 3D environment, make a hologram of you, and you can play Jor-El.’ He was like, ‘Okay.’”
The new DC movie is slated to release worldwide on July 11.
