Prince William compares Charlotte's social life to brothers George, Louis

Prince William is reflecting on how his kids’ different environments have shaped their interests differently.

While visiting England’s women’s football team the Lionesses at St. George’s Park on July 30, William gave a sweet update on his and Princess Kate’s 10-year-old daughter’s budding interest in the sport.

When asked if Charlotte plays football, he replied, “Not quite as into the football as the boys,” before adding encouragingly, “Getting there.”

Prince George, 11, and Prince Louis, 7, on the other hand, are full-blown football fanatics. The oldest regularly joins William at Aston Villa matches, while the youngest Wales child has so many favourites that William once joked, “My youngest at the moment says he supports five different football teams.”

William suggested Charlotte’s slower pace might come down to her school environment.

“It’s again how much they play at school because you’ve got to create that environment,” he said, explaining, “If their friends don’t play then they’re like, ‘well, I’m not going to’... it’s collective and down to the school.”

The Prince of Wales was at England’s national football center to wish the Lionesses good luck ahead of their Euro 2025 campaign. He praised their team spirit and impact on young fans. “You are the reason they have got into football,” he told them.

He further revealed that there's been a "56 percent rise in girls’ participation since 2020,” he further revealed.

The future king even helped print official team jerseys before gifting shirts to each squad member before getting and a few extras for George, Charlotte and Louis.
