Kristin Cavallari opened up about one of the hardest decisions she ever made.
The former reality star and businesswoman recently revealed that she completely cut ties with her father.
Kristin, 38, chose to walk away from her father Dennis after he went too far with one of her sons.
However, she said that his actions crossed a line she couldn’t ignore, and that moment made her cut him out for good.
Speaking on Harry Jowsey's podcast Boyfriend Material, the star shared: "I always had a rough relationship with my dad.
"That's a deal breaker for me, especially when he had zero accountability and no apology.
"He traumatized my kids. And I have no room for that in my life, and so that was it."
Kristin said if her own child ever drifted away, she’d fight to fix things. But her dad Dennis didn’t even try to make things better with her.
She continued, "To be honest with you, as a mom, if I had a kid and I really f***** up with my kid and they wanted to cut me out of their life, I would do everything imaginable to not let that happen.
"I would be like, "I am so f****** sorry." Showing up at your house, like, doing everything imaginable and my dad in a lot of ways was like, 'OK.'"
However, Kristin earlier called his father a narcissist, opening up about her tough relationship with him.
