Johnny Depp, who is one considered as one of the topmost actors of Hollywood, had concerns when his daughter Lily-Rose was making the decision of stepping into the industry.
Depp is one of those actors, who discourages everybody coming to him for advice on how to get into industry. He simply tells all, “Don’t do it.”
But when it came to his daughter, he did not discourage her, rather the 62-year-old told Rose to make her own choice.
While recalling in an interview with The Times, the Pirates of the Caribbean star shared that he told Lily, "Go for it. But don't let anyone choose for you.”
Depp’s 26-year-old daughter has already been a part of many popular projects namely The Idol, in which she starred alongside The Weeknd.
Meanwhile, she also featured in Robert Eggers horror thriller film Nosferatu with Bill Skarsgård.
As far as Johnny is concerned, he is all set to return to big screens with a film called Day Drinker alongside Penélope Cruz.
This will mark as his first mainstream project after legal battle with ex-wife, Amber Heard.
