John Travolta left his fans in complete shock by making a surprise appearance at the Hollywood Bowl event.
The event was a public screening of Grease, designed as a sing-along, where fans gather to watch the film and sing the songs together.
As the event began, Travolta made a surprise entrance, dressed like his character Danny Zuko from the 1978 film, clad in a black leather jacket.
"L.A.?" he asked, channeling one of the film’s iconic lines. "I thought you were going back to Australia!" he joked after reuniting with his former castmates on stage, greeting them warmly, and addressing the cheering crowd.
He hyped the attendees and led them in a line from the movie’s final song, "We Go Together," before exiting so the film could start.
Fans flooded the comment section of an Instagram video capturing the moment with several remarking it as "too cool."
"Very cool Mr. Travolta! VERY COOL!!!!![series of clapping emojis]," wrote one admirer followed by others writing, "omg this is too cool" and "It was insane!! So cool!!!"
Another fan who saw it live chimed in saying, "It was amazing. I was there! The crowd went nuts!"
Travolta later wrote in his own post on the social media platform that "No one knew," about his appearance. "Not even the cast. Thank you for a great evening."
