'James Bond' rumoured casting sparks anger
Fans already show their disapproval on the leaked casting
James Bond makers are reportedly eyeing some actors to play the titular role in upcoming.
Earlier this year, the original producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli stepped down from their roles and handed over the creative rights to Amazon MGM.
Meanwhile, the OG actor Daniel Craig also backed out from playing the British spy.
The new creators have announced the next 007 film with Denis Villeneuve directing the film, but the makers haven’t yet finalized the lead actor.
An insider told Variety that the producers have a wishlist for the next Bond movie. They are allegedly considering choosing among Tom Holland, Jacob Elordi and Harris Dickinson to play the lead character.
The rumours list has created a stir online with fans expressing their anger on the casting.
“What a terrible list of actors you just listed,” wrote one fan. Meanwhile, another commented on X, “None of these. Big fan of both actors, but I literally won’t watch it.”
A third social media user expressed, “Wow. They’re not cooking s*** with any of those choices.”
On the contrary, there are some fans, who have their own picks for James Bond role. The most common names include Henry Cavill and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
