Eva Mendes has recently made bold declaration about her return to Hollywood.
In a new interview with Elle Spain, the Fast Five actress addressed her decision to quit acting and when she would return to acting.
Eva recalled her last performance was in the movie, Lost River, directed by her partner Ryan Gosling.
“I'd never seen anything like it,” said the 51-year-old while speaking of Ryan’s work.
The Hitch actress continued, “His way of working, his commitment to it, his will to give the best of himself. All of that allowed for his collaborators to shine too.”
“Disgracefully, or luckily, there’s only one Ryan, so I practically stopped acting after that project,” she told the outlet.
When asked when would make a comeback to acting, the Ghost Rider actress pointed out, “My youngest daughter is nine years old, and I feel like I have to stay as long as I can with my girls.”
“My most important role is to be a mom now. If I were to return to acting, it would have to be a very special project,” she added.
Elsewhere in the interview, Eva praised the Notebook actor for his significant contribution towards raising their two daughters.
“If I threw myself into, this adventure, it was thanks to him,” remarked the Out of Time actress.
Before concluding, Eva confessed, “I fell in love with this man. It couldn't have happened with someone else.”
