Spider-Man original trilogy, directed by Sam Raimi and starring Toby Maguire, is set for a re-release in cinemas soon.

The event will occur in fall season by Fathom Entertainment distributers in collaboration with Sony Pictures.

The re-release will also include a 4K edition of extended cut of Spider-Man 2 titled Spider-Man 2.1. This will mark the first theatrical release of that version of the superhero sequel, which includes extended and additional scenes.

"The success of Spider-Man in 2002 helped launch the modern era of superhero films. To this day, Tobey Maguire’s take on Spider-Man resonates across generations," said Ray Nutt, chief executive officer of Fathom Entertainment, as per Variety.

Nutt added, "We celebrate fandom and I am delighted that ‘Spider-Man 2.1’ in 4K will make its theatrical debut, a true gift for long time fans and a thrilling discovery for new ones."

The 2002s iconic film is the latest addition to the distributer’s fan favourite series, which previously had set limited theatrical engagements of beloved classics, such as Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Clueless.

The first part of the film will be screened on September 26, 2025, with Spider-Man 2.1 on 27 and third part on 28th of the same month.

All three parts will be re-screened following the weekend on October 3, 4 and 5.

The tickets for Spider-Man screening will be available on July 25.
