Curtis James Jackson III, known professionally as 50 Cent, has been tapped to join the cast of Street Fighter movie.

The American rapper turned actor, television producer and entrepreneur will be lining up alongside Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, and newly nabbed Joe Anoa’i, famously known as the WWE superstar Roman Reign, in the hotly anticipated live-action adaptation of the classic Capcom video game.

The Den of Thieves star will play Balrog, a disgraced boxer who is also the bodyguard of the villain, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

Sources say the iconic rapper is going all in by training hard and even planning to do his own stunts for the role.

In addition to the Queen-born multifaceted, the diverse ensemble of the upcoming movie lined up the Aquaman star as Blanka, Centineo as Ken, Reign as battler Akuma.

Country singer Orville Peck as Vega, martial artist-actor Andrew Koji as lead character Ryu, and Callina Liang as Chun-Li round out the currently announced main cast.

Legendary Entertainment’s feature adaptation of the video game is set to be directed by Kitao Sakurai with production beginning in August in Australia.
