The Vampire Diaries may have ended in 2017, but the bond between its cast remains stronger than ever and their recent reunion proves it.

The cast and creators of the CW show gathered in Spain to witness the nuptials of Michael Trevino, who played Tyler Lockwood, and model-actress Bregje Heinen.

The happy occasion was attended by Nina Dobrev and Candice King who played Elena Gilbert and Caroline Forbes in the teen supernatural drama.

King was joined by her fiancé, Steven Krueger, known for his role as Josh Rosza in The Originals, the spinoff to The Vampire Diaries.

Julie Plec, the creator of both shows, was also in attendance, alongside fellow castmates Charles Michael Davis (Marcel Gerard), Kayla Ewell (Vicki Donovan), and Zach Roerig (Matt Donovan), all of whom shared laughs and sweet moments at the event.

Photos and videos from the wedding quickly circulated on social media, delighting longtime fans of the vampire saga.

One admirer wrote, "I love that the vampire diaries cast and the originals cast are close in real life. these shows created friendships for a life time how epic is that."

Another exclaimed in excitement, "Oh my god! Marcel, Josh, Caroline, Vicky, Matt and Elena at Tyler's wedding! That's great they are still friends!"

Meanwhile a third added, "Missing Salvatore brothers in Tux," referring to Ian Somerhalde and Paul Wesley, who led the drama as vampire brothers Damon and Stefan Salvatore.

The two actors noticeably didn’t make it to the event and the reason for their absence is unknown.

The Vampire Diaries premiered in 2009 and ran for eight seasons, focusing on two vampire brothers locked in a centuries-old love triangle with the human girl Elena. The show became a cult favorite.
