Andy Serkis gives 'Batman 2' update following James Gunn's subtle response to fans
James Gunn gets angry on fans for repeatedly asking update on the new DC film
The Batman fans, with their continuous investigation about the new sequel, made DC CEO James Gunn "irritated."
A few days ago, Gunn gave a very subtle response to fans telling them to “let director and writer Matt Reeves take his time to prepare the script.”
Prior to James, Ander Serkis, who plays Alfred Pennyworth in the Robert Pattinson starrer, has also now shared an update on the second sequel of the Reeves directorial.
During his appearance at the Filming Italy Sardegna Festival 2025, the Lord of the Rings star shared an insight about the script.
Andy added, "I'm absolutely certain you'll see The Batman 2, I know that the script is being finished at the moment.”
He continued, “Matt Reeves is a formidable and wonderful filmmaker, and he would not want it to go forward until, in his mind, the script is where he needs it to be.”
Calling Matt as "one of the most exacting and dedicated storytellers," Serkis assured that there will be another movie.
The Batman Part II will bring back Pattinson as the DC superhero. Meanwhile, Colin Farrell is also going to reprise his role as Penguin in the 2027 movie.
